Paige Chua Qi Hui (born on June 25, 1981) is a famous actress and TV host from Singapore. She is known for her amazing acting skills and for hosting many fun shows!

Early Life and Beginnings

Paige Chua was born in Singapore on June 25, 1981. She went to Mayflower Secondary School and Serangoon Junior College. Later, she studied at the National University of Singapore and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Before becoming an actress, Paige was a talented athlete. She played netball for Singapore's National Youth Netball team from 1997 to 1999. After her netball career, she took a basic modeling class. This led to a four-year career as a model, which is how she was first discovered!

Acting and Hosting Career

Paige Chua started her acting journey in 2008. Her first role was in a TV show called Just in Singapore. In this show, she played the half-sister of another character. Later that year, she acted in two more shows: La Femme and Crime Busters x 2.

In 2010, Paige was nominated for her first acting award, "Best Supporting Actress," for her role in The Dream Catchers. She also had a special guest role in Unriddle. A big step in her career was in The Score, where she played her first main character, Zhou Tian Lan. She also appeared in Secret Garden.

In 2011, Paige acted in the movie It's a Great, Great World. She also starred in the drama Be Happy. Besides acting, Paige also started hosting TV shows. In 2012, she hosted a lifestyle show called LOHAS and an educational program called The Activist's Journey II.

Paige continued to be very busy in 2013, starring in many dramas like It's A Wonderful Life, 96°C Café, and Sudden. She even tried comedy for the first time in the sitcom The Recruit Diaries. She also hosted season 4 of RenovAID, a show about home makeovers.

One of her roles in Against The Tide earned her another "Best Supporting Actress" nomination in 2015. In 2016, she acted in a Malaysian show called Beyond Words and was a main actress in If Only I Could and The Gentlemen. Her role in Hero was a big success and got her another "Best Supporting Actress" nomination in 2017.

In 2017, Paige played a Navy Captain in When Duty Calls, a special drama made with the Ministry of Defence. She also starred in Mightiest Mother-in-Law, where she played a housewife. This role earned her her first nomination for "Best Actress" in 2018. She continued to act in popular dramas like Blessings 2 and You Can Be An Angel 3.
