Paola Andrea Rey Arciniegas was born in San Gil, Santander, Colombia. Her parents are José Domingo Rey and Cecilia Arciniegas. She has two siblings, a sister named Alexandra and a brother named José Alberto.
When she was younger, Paola was interested in studying Industrial engineering. However, her path changed when she got a role in a TV show in 1996. She started acting without any previous experience!
Family Life
On June 5, 2010, Paola Rey married Juan Carlos Vargas, who is also a Colombian actor. They have two sons together. Their first son, Oliver Vargas Rey, was born in July 2013. Their second son, Leo Vargas Rey, was born in May 2018.
Paola is also good friends with the Venezuelan actor, Juan Alfonso Baptista.

Paola Rey has starred in many Colombian TV shows, often called telenovelas. Some of her most famous roles include La Baby Sister, Pasión de Gavilanes, and La mujer en el espejo. These shows are very popular in Colombia and other countries.
