About Paola Volpato
Paola Volpato is married to Felipe Castro, who is also an actor from Chile. They have two children named Simón and Manuel. Paola has Italian family roots. Her grandfather, Gaetano Volpato, came to Chile from Venice, Italy.
Paola's Acting Career
Paola Volpato finished school in 1986 at Scuola Italiana. After that, she studied acting at the University of Chile.
She started her acting journey in 1994. Her first small role was in a TV show called Rojo y miel. This show was on Televisión Nacional de Chile. Over the next few years, she played many different characters. She appeared in popular TV shows like Tic Tac (1997) and Aquelarre (1999). She also acted in Amores de mercado (2001) and Destinos cruzados (2004).
In November 2002, Paola won an award for her acting. She was named best actress at the international festival in Viña del Mar. This was for her role in the movie Tres noches de un sábado.
Paola is very good at playing different kinds of roles. She has acted in both funny comedies and serious dramas. In 2007, she played a detective named Eva Zanetti in Alguien Te Mira. Later that same year, she was Blanca del Bosque in Amor por Accidente.
In 2008, Paola was in the TV show Viuda Alegre. She played Mariana, who was the ex-wife of a character played by Francisco Reyes. Her career really took off in 2009. She played "Consuelo Domínguez" in ¿Dónde está Elisa?. This was a very important role for her. After that, she played "Paloma Subercaseaux" in Los Ángeles de Estela. Since 2014, she has become very popular on TV. She was the main actress for the Mega TV network, starting with Pituca sin lucas.
In 2022, Paola won a Produ Award. This award was for best supporting actress in a TV show. She won it for her role in Hijos del desierto.
