Cristopher Paolo César Hurtado Huertas (born 27 July 1990), known as Paolo Hurtado, is a Peruvian professional footballer. He plays as a winger for Comerciantes.

Paolo Hurtado's Football Journey
Paolo Hurtado has played for many football clubs throughout his career. He started in Peru and later moved to play in Europe and other South American countries.
Starting Out at Alianza Lima
Paolo Hurtado began his professional career with Alianza Lima in Peru. He made his first team appearance in February 2008. To gain more playing time, he went on loan to Juan Aurich. After this loan, Hurtado returned to Alianza Lima. He became a very important player for the team.
Playing in Portugal with Paços de Ferreira
In 2012, Paolo Hurtado moved to Portugal. He signed with the team F.C. Paços de Ferreira. He quickly showed how good he was and became a key player for them.
Time in England with Reading
On 12 August 2015, Hurtado signed a three-year contract with Reading. This team plays in the Championship in England. He found it hard to settle in England and did not play much. Because of this, he went on loan to Vitória de Guimarães in Portugal. This loan started in January 2016 and lasted until June 2016. Reading confirmed in August 2016 that he went back to Vitória de Guimarães for another season-long loan.
Returning to Vitória Guimarães Permanently
Paolo Hurtado's time on loan at Vitória de Guimarães was successful. On 20 July 2017, Reading announced that Hurtado had joined Vitória Guimarães permanently. He continued to play well for the Portuguese club.
Later Career Clubs
After his time with Vitória Guimarães, Hurtado played for several other clubs. He joined Konyaspor in Turkey. Later, he played for PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv in Bulgaria. He also had spells with Unión Española in Chile and returned to Alianza Lima in Peru. In 2023, he played for Cienciano, and in 2024, for Carlos A. Mannucci. As of 2025, he plays for Comerciantes.
Representing Peru: International Career
Paolo Hurtado has also played for his country, Peru. He was part of the national squad for many years.
Playing in the FIFA World Cup
In May 2018, Hurtado was chosen for Peru's team. This team was preparing for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. It was a big moment for him to represent his country in such an important tournament.
