About the Song and Its Release
The famous Japanese TV channel NHK asked Kenshi Yonezu to create "Paprika." He wrote and produced the song as a special cheer song for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The Japanese version of the song was first released on August 15, 2018. Later, an English version was made by Foorin Team E. Its music video came out on YouTube on December 1, 2019, and the song was released on January 22, 2020. Kenshi Yonezu also released his own version of the song on August 9, 2019.
