Paradise Hill is a small town located in the northwest part of Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, in the United States. It is part of the larger Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2010, the town had a population of 85 people. This was a decrease from 100 people counted in the year 2000.
History of Paradise Hill
Paradise Hill is a fairly new town. It started in 1954 along the edge of Tenkiller Ferry Lake. By 1962, there were 47 homes where people lived all the time. The town had already become an official town and had its own water system. By 1969, Paradise Hill grew even bigger by adding more land nearby.
