Park Kang-jo (Hangul: 박강조; born on January 24, 1980) is a former professional football player. He played as a midfielder, which is a player who helps both attack and defense. Park Kang-jo was born in Japan. He played five games for the South Korea national team and scored one goal. Today, he is the manager of Atletico Suzuka.

Park Kang-jo's Football Journey
Park Kang-jo started his football career in Japan. He played for Takigawa Daini High School from 1995 to 1997. After high school, he joined Kyoto Purple Sanga in 1998. He played there for two years.
Playing for Korean and Japanese Clubs
In 2000, Park Kang-jo moved to South Korea. He joined Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, a well-known club in the K-League. He played 44 games for them over three seasons.
In 2003, he returned to Japan to play for Vissel Kobe. This was a very important part of his career. He stayed with Vissel Kobe for ten years, until 2012. During his time there, he played in 251 games and scored 30 goals. He was a key player for the team.
Playing for His Country
Park Kang-jo also had the chance to play for his country, South Korea. In 2000, he played one game for the South Korea U23 team.
Later that year, on May 28, 2000, he made his first appearance for the main South Korea national team. This was in a friendly match against FR Yugoslavia. He played a total of five games for the national team and scored one goal. His goal came on June 9, 2000, in a match against Egypt.
Life After Playing Football
After retiring as a player, Park Kang-jo decided to become a football manager. He now uses his experience to guide new players. He is currently the manager of Atletico Suzuka Club.
