Early Life and Education

Parker Croft was born in Burlington, Vermont, and grew up in the northern part of the state. His mother, Juliet McVicker, is a jazz singer, and his father, Parker Hendrick Croft Jr., is an architect and a painter.

Parker started acting when he was just seven years old in 1994. He first performed in children's theater and later worked with the Vermont Stage Company.

He had a mix of different types of schooling, including public school, private school, and even home schooling. Before graduating from the White Mountain School, he won a scholarship to a summer school for young actors. This experience led him to move to New York City to study acting at famous schools like the Stella Adler Studio and the William Esper Studio.

Acting and Writing Career

Parker Croft's first movie role was as John in the teen movie ... Up. A year later, in 2008, he played a bully named Cooper in the independent musical film Were the World Mine. He also sang a song for the movie's soundtrack.

His first role on television was in the FX show Nip/Tuck. His performance helped him get a role in the movie Nuclear Family in 2010.

Parker has also appeared in several TV pilots, which are single episodes used to decide if a new show will be made. These include Back Nine, 1600 Penn, and Adult Life.
