Passover is a small, unincorporated community located in Camden County, Missouri, in the United States. It sits on a narrow piece of land, like a finger, that reaches north into the Grandglaize Creek Arm. This area is part of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. You can find Passover about three miles north of Missouri Route A, along a local county road.
History of Passover
Passover had its own post office, which opened in 1901. It served the community for many years before closing in 1931. No one is completely sure how Passover got its name. However, many people believe it was named after Johnny Passover, who likely founded the town.
