Patrick Alan Batteaux (born April 18, 1978) is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers in the National Football League (NFL). Pat also played both college football and college basketball at Texas Christian University.

Pat Batteaux was born on April 18, 1978, in Houston, Texas. He went to Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas.
College Sports Career
Pat Batteaux was a key player for the TCU Horned Frogs football team. He played for four years, from 1996 to 1999.
Football at TCU
For his first two years (1996 and 1997), Pat played as a wide receiver.
- In 1996, he caught six passes for 58 yards.
- In 1997, he caught 27 passes for 396 yards and scored one touchdown.
In 1998, Pat changed his position to quarterback.
- He completed 55 passes for 519 yards and one touchdown.

In 1999, his final year, he continued as quarterback.

Joining the San Diego Chargers
On April 17, 2000, Pat signed with the San Diego Chargers. He was later placed on the Chargers' practice squad. The practice squad is where players train with the team but are not on the main roster.
He stayed on the practice squad for the rest of 2000. In 2001, he re-signed with the Chargers.
Playing in Games
Pat was moved to the main team roster on November 14, 2001. He played in two games, catching one pass for six yards. He was later moved back to the practice squad.
On December 14, 2001, he was again promoted to the main team. He played in the final three games of that season. In those games, he caught two passes for 19 yards.
Pat Batteaux was released by the Chargers on August 31, 2002.
