Rodolpho Barteczko (born November 12, 1910 – died March 13, 1988) was a famous Brazilian football player. Everyone knew him better by his nickname, Patesko. He was a talented striker, which means he played in the front of the team, trying to score goals. Patesko was born in Curitiba, Brazil, and later passed away in Rio de Janeiro.
Patesko had Polish family roots. He played football for 13 years, from 1930 to 1943. During his career, he played for several important clubs.

Patesko was known for his skills on the field. He helped his teams win important matches and championships. His journey in football took him to different parts of Brazil and even to a neighboring country.
His Football Journey
Patesko started his career playing for Palestra Itália in Paraná. He then moved to Força e Luz in Rio Grande do Sul. One of his most successful times was with Nacional in Uruguay. While playing for Nacional, he helped them win the Uruguayan championships in 1933. This was a big achievement for him and the team.
After playing in Uruguay, Patesko returned to Brazil. He joined Botafogo, a well-known club in Rio de Janeiro. With Botafogo, he won the Rio de Janeiro State Tournament in 1935. This showed he was a key player in different teams and leagues.
Playing for Brazil
Patesko also had the honor of playing for the Brazilian national team. He represented his country in two major international tournaments: the World Cup. He played in the 1934 World Cup and again in the 1938 World Cup.
The World Cup is a huge tournament where countries compete to be the best in football. Playing in two World Cups is a great achievement for any footballer. Patesko was part of the Brazilian team that finished third in the 1938 World Cup in France. This was a proud moment for Brazil and for Patesko.
Patesko passed away when he was 77 years old. He is remembered as one of Brazil's talented football players from that era.
