Patricia Abravanel Faria (born October 4, 1977) is a Brazilian television presenter and businesswoman. She is the daughter of Silvio Santos, a famous TV presenter, businessman, and the founder of SBT.

About Patricia Abravanel

Patricia is the second daughter of Silvio Santos and Íris Abravanel. Her older sister is Daniela Beyruti. She also has older half-sisters, Cintia and Silvia Abravanel, from her father's first marriage. Rebecca and Renata Abravanel are her younger sisters.

Even when she was a child, Patricia showed a natural talent for being in front of the cameras. People noticed her few appearances on her father's shows. She also appeared on shows hosted by Mara Maravilha when SBT was called TVS.

In her youth, Patricia attended Graded School in São Paulo. She was expelled for not following the rules. She finished high school at another school in the city.

Patricia's Family and Faith

Patricia grew up following Judaism, which is her father's religion. Later, she converted to the evangelical religion, like her mother and sisters Daniela, Rebeca, and Renata. For many years, she attended the Vida Nova Church in São Paulo.

In 2004, Patricia married businessman Phillipe Carrasco. Their marriage ended in 2010. She later had a relationship with businessman Marcos Faria, which ended in 2012. In 2013, Patricia started dating Fabio Faria, a Federal Deputy from Rio Grande do Norte.

On February 7, 2014, her father, Silvio Santos, confirmed that Patricia was expecting a baby. Patricia also confirmed this on her show, Legal Sunday, on February 9. She gave birth to her first son, Pedro Abravanel Faria, on September 14.

Kidnapping Incident

On August 21, 2001, Patricia was kidnapped in São Paulo. She was held captive for one week. This event was widely reported across Brazil. It made her a well-known person in the news. Before this, she and her sisters were usually kept out of the media spotlight.

After her release, Patricia gave an interview at her father's house. She spoke about her experience with faith and forgiveness. She said, "In the kidnapping I had a very strong faith experience. I was firm and at peace because I was sure it would work out." She added, "Forgiveness is good for those who forgive. Obviously I was afraid, but could you imagine being bitter because of that? God forbid."

Patricia's Business Career

Patricia has a post-graduate degree in business administration from Liberty University in the United States. She is involved in the businesses of the Silvio Santos Group, just like her sisters. In 2003, she started as an intern in the group's management. In 2005, she interned at Banco Panamericano.

By 2006, Patricia became an executive in the administrative sector of the group. She also worked in the communication area of the group's bank, which no longer exists. She helped restructure Jequiti Cosmetics in its early years. She also helped create the artistic design for the luxurious Hotel Jequitimar in Guarujá, São Paulo.

Patricia's Television Career

Patricia began her TV career in early 2011, following her father's suggestions. She has hosted several shows and is a regular on the popular "Jogo dos Pontinhos" segment.

Early TV Roles

In March 2011, Patricia started her TV career promoting Jequiti Cosméticos and Baú da Felicidade. She appeared alongside Luís Ricardo and Patrícia Salvador on the Silvio Santos Program. Soon after, she joined the cast of "Jogo dos Pontinhos."

She became a TV presenter in 2011 for the "SBT Festival 30 Anos" program. This show aired on Saturday nights between May and August, celebrating SBT's 30th anniversary. Patricia also filled in for Eliana twice during Eliana's maternity leave.

Hosting Game Shows

In January 2012, Patricia began co-hosting the musical game show "Cante Se Puder." She worked with comedian Marcio Ballas and judges Nahim, Nany People, and Lola Melnick. The show was very popular, often coming in second place in ratings.

In April, she started hosting the game show "Roda a Roda." This show was based on the American "Wheel of Fortune." However, it was taken off the air after only two weeks due to low ratings.

Machine of Fame

In April 2013, "Roda a Roda Jequiti" returned to SBT's schedule. Patricia began taking turns with Silvio Santos to present the show on Sunday nights.

The "Cante Se Puder" program ended after about a year and a half. In July, Patricia also started presenting the Tele Sena draws occasionally, filling in for her father.

In November 2013, Patricia debuted her second solo program, "Máquina da Fama" (Machine of Fame). This show was based on the American "My Name Is" format. On the show, participants transformed to look and perform like famous celebrities.
