Patricia Verónica Núñez Reyes Spíndola (born July 11, 1953) is a famous actress, director, and producer from Mexico. She is celebrated for her incredible work in movies and television. She has won four Ariel Awards, which are like the Oscars of Mexican cinema.

Her Journey to Stardom
Patricia Reyes Spíndola knew she wanted to be an actress and studied her craft in both Mexico and London. Her movie career began in 1972 with the film El señor de Osanto. Just two years later, she was performing on stage at the famous Teatro Fru Fru in Mexico City.
Throughout her career, she has worked with many great directors, including Nancy Cárdenas and Arturo Ripstein. Her talent has made her one of Mexico's most respected actresses.
Winning Major Awards
Reyes Spíndola has starred in over 70 movies. Her powerful performances have earned her four Ariel Awards. She won the Best Actress award twice:
- In 1985 for the movie Los Motivos de Luz.
- In 1994 for the movie The Queen of the Night.
She also won the Best Supporting Actress award twice for her roles in Letters from Marusia (1975) and El otro crimen (1988).

Besides acting, Reyes Spíndola is also a talented director. She has directed episodes for several telenovelas, including Salomé and La mujer del Vendaval.
She also helps new actors learn their craft. With her sister, Marta, she runs an acting school in Mexico City called M & M Studio.
A Story of Strength
Reyes Spíndola is a cancer survivor. In 2011, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She bravely faced the illness and had a surgery called a mastectomy. In 2015, she shared her experience in a book titled La vuelta da muchas vidas (Life Gives You Many Turns) to inspire others.
