Public Service and Career
After finishing high school, Patrick Penn joined the United States Army. He was sent to serve in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. Before he became a politician, Penn worked for a company called Textron Aviation Defense.
Serving in the Kansas House
Penn was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in November 2020. He officially started his role on January 11, 2021. In the Republican primary election, Penn won against the person who held the office before him, Michael Capps. Some people describe him as a Christian Conservative.
