Paul Hunter is an American who directs films, writes screenplays, and creates music videos. He has directed over 100 music videos for many famous artists. He has also made many TV commercials. One of his commercials for Nike, called "Freestyle," was even nominated for an Emmy award. In 2004, a newspaper called Washington Post said he was one of the most important directors for hip-hop music videos.
Paul Hunter studied Radio, TV & Film at Cal State Northridge university. He learned a lot about how to make movies and TV shows there.

Paul Hunter has worked with many big names in music. These include Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Pharrell, and Dr. Dre. He also directed videos for TLC, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, and Mariah Carey. He even worked with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Directing Movies and Videos
Paul Hunter directed his first full-length movie called Bulletproof Monk. It starred famous actors Chow Yun Fat and Seann William Scott. He also directed Michael Jackson's comeback music video, 'You Rock My World'. Another famous video he directed was "Lady Marmalade." This video won awards and was part of the movie Moulin Rouge! (2001).
Besides music videos and movies, Paul Hunter also directs commercials. He worked with a company called Prettybird. He even co-directed a commercial for Bacardi with actor Michael B. Jordan.
