The Janko Keyboard
In 1882, Paul von Jankó created something amazing. He invented the Janko keyboard. This was a new type of piano keyboard.
What made it special? It was a 6-plus-6-keyboard. This means it had six rows of keys instead of the usual one. This design made it easier to play certain musical pieces. It also helped pianists reach notes that were far apart.
