Paula McGee, born on December 1, 1962, is an American preacher, writer, and inspirational speaker. She is also a former professional basketball player. Paula played college basketball for the University of Southern California (USC). While there, she helped her team win the NCAA championship twice, in 1983 and 1984. Paula has a twin sister, Pamela McGee, who also played in the WNBA and won an Olympic gold medal.

College Basketball Career
Paula McGee joined the USC Trojans team in 1980. During her first year, she was amazing, scoring an average of 20.0 points and grabbing 9.0 rebounds per game. Her talent was quickly noticed.
Awards and Recognition
Paula received many honors during her college years.
- In 1982, she was named a WBCA All-American.
- In 1983, she became a Kodak All-American.
- She was also part of the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team in both 1983 and 1984.
- For four years in a row (1981–1984), she was selected for the WCAA First Team All-Conference. This shows how consistently great she was.
- USC even retired her jersey number, 11, to honor her incredible contributions to the team.

After her successful college career, Paula McGee began playing basketball professionally in 1984.
Playing for the Dallas Diamonds
In 1984, Paula and her twin sister, Pamela, played together for the Dallas Diamonds. This team was part of the Women's American Basketball Association (WABA). Paula continued to play professional basketball until 1992.
