History of Paullina
Paullina was founded in 1882. This happened when the Chicago & Northwestern Railway expanded its tracks to this area. The city was named after the Paullin brothers. They were the original owners of the land where the town was built.
Geography and Location
Paullina is located in the state of Iowa. Its exact coordinates are 42 degrees, 58 minutes, 43 seconds North and 95 degrees, 41 minutes, 13 seconds West.
The city covers a total area of about 2.42 square kilometers (0.93 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water.

The number of people living in Paullina has changed over the years. In 1890, there were 510 residents. The population grew to 1,289 in 1950. By 2020, the population was 982 people.
