Paul Michael DelVecchio Jr. (born July 5, 1980), known as Pauly D or DJ Pauly D, is an American TV star and DJ. He became famous for being on the MTV reality show Jersey Shore.
In 2011, he signed a deal to make three music albums with 50 Cent's record labels. He was also the first person from Jersey Shore to get his own TV show, called The Pauly D Project.

Early Life
Pauly D was born on July 5, 1980, in Providence, Rhode Island. His parents are Donna DiCarlo and Paul D. DelVecchio Sr. He has said that his family is "100% Italian." He has one sister named Vanessa.
He started his career as a local DJ, using the name Pauly D. One of his favorite DJs was DJ AM.
Career
Jersey Shore TV Show
Pauly D was chosen for the Jersey Shore show in 2009. He shared that he was picked because the show's creators liked his look. They sent him a message on Myspace.
After he gave them his phone number, they sent a camera crew to Rhode Island. They filmed him at the gym, tanning, and going to a club. Six months later, he found out he was on the show. He never had to do a regular audition.
Being on the show made him very popular. Time magazine said he had "seriously rabid fans." In 2011, he won the Teen Choice Award for Choice Reality Star: Male.
The Pauly D Project
Pauly D was the first person from Jersey Shore to get his own TV show. This show focused on his DJ career as he traveled around America. Filming for the show began in 2012.
Time magazine suggested he got his own show because he seemed fun and easy to get along with. The show was first called DelVecchio but later changed to The Pauly D Project. It first aired on MTV on March 29, 2012.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation
In 2018, Pauly D joined his Jersey Shore castmates again. They started a new show called Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which was filmed in Miami.
Music and DJ Work
In 2010, Pauly D released a song called "Beat Dat Beat (It's Time To)". He was also nominated for the "America's Best DJ" competition in both 2010 and 2011.
On August 11, 2011, he confirmed he signed a deal with 50 Cent's record labels, G-Unit Records and G-Note Records. This deal was for three albums. He also planned to release headphones with the label.
In 2011, Pauly D announced that he would perform before Britney Spears at some of her concerts in North America.
In July 2012, he shared that Big Sean was working with him in the studio on his new album. The album was set to be released in 2013.
Pauly D released the first song from his first album, called "Back to Love," on January 15, 2012. It featured British singer Jay Sean.
In 2016, he released another song called "Did You Know" with Tdot illdude.
On April 5, 2019, Pauly D released his third song, "Silver & Gold," with James Kaye.

In 2016, Pauly D joined the show Famously Single on the E! network. This show followed eight single celebrities who lived together to talk about their dating problems.
In 2018, he appeared on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars 11 with Aubrey O'Day. They had met while filming Famously Single.
In 2019, Pauly D was on Game of Clones. This was a dating show where he was looking for someone who looked like actress Megan Fox.
In April 2019, Pauly D also appeared on the MTV dating show Double Shot at Love. He was on this show with his Jersey Shore friend, Vinny Guadagnino.
In 2020, Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino were cast in another MTV show called Revenge Prank.
In 2022, Pauly D was the narrator for the reality competition show All Star Shore on Paramount+.
Personal Life
In October 2013, Pauly D announced that he had a daughter named Amabella Sophia. She was born in New Jersey.
Since 2020, Pauly D has been in a relationship with Nikki Hall.
