Peardale's History
Peardale has a bit of history with trains! The community was once part of the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad route. This was a special type of train line with tracks that were closer together than regular train tracks. Peardale also had its own post office for a while, which operated from 1916 to 1927.
