Peer Augustinski (born June 25, 1940 – died October 3, 2014) was a famous German actor. He was well-known for his work on television and for lending his voice to many characters in movies and TV shows. He was especially famous for being the German voice of the beloved actor Robin Williams.

About Peer Augustinski
Peer Augustinski was born in Berlin, Germany. He became a popular actor in Germany. One of his most famous roles was in a TV comedy show called Klimbim. This show was one of the first successful comedy series on German television.
The Voice of Robin Williams
Augustinski was also known as the official German voice for the famous American actor Robin Williams. He voiced almost all of Robin Williams' characters in German movies and TV shows. This started in late 1986 with the film Seize the Day. One character he did not voice was The Peddler in the Disney film Aladdin. Instead, he voiced the Genie in Aladdin, which was also played by Robin Williams.
In 2005, Augustinski had a stroke. This made it hard for him to work as much as before. However, he was still able to voice Robin Williams in a few more projects. His last voice role for Williams was in the movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian in 2009.
Later Years and Passing
Peer Augustinski passed away on October 3, 2014. He was 74 years old. His death happened less than two months after Robin Williams passed away. He died due to problems from epilepsy.
