Pelswick is a fun animated TV show for kids. It was made in Canada, Taiwan, and the United States. The show is about a teenage boy named Pelswick who uses a wheelchair. It shows that he lives a totally normal life, just like any other kid! The series is based on books by John Callahan. The TV show kept a positive and uplifting message.

Meet the Characters of Pelswick

  • Pelswick Eggert (voiced by Robert Tinkler) - Pelswick is a 13-year-old boy who uses a wheelchair. He doesn't like it when people treat him differently because of his disability. Pelswick likes to follow his own path, not just what everyone else is doing.
  • Ace Nakamura (voiced by Phil Guerrero) - Ace is Pelswick's best friend. He is super smart with technology. Ace often comes up with clever ideas to help his friends.
  • Goon Gunderson (voiced by Peter Oldring) - Goon is Pelswick's other best friend. He is big and sometimes a bit slow to understand things. Goon is kind-hearted, but can be a bit scary when he gets angry.
  • Julie Smockford (voiced by Julie Lemieux) - Julie is a popular girl and Pelswick's crush. She doesn't like school cliques or popularity contests. Julie is smart and dramatic, but she really cares about Pelswick. She believes in fairness for everyone.
  • Sandra Scoddle (voiced by Kim Kuhteubl) - Sandra is Julie's friend and sometimes rival. She thinks she's better than everyone else. Sandra often argues with Julie and tries to follow the latest trends.
  • Mr. Jimmy (voiced by David Arquette) - Mr. Jimmy is Pelswick's guardian angel. He gives Pelswick advice that often sounds confusing at first. Pelswick finds him annoying, but Mr. Jimmy is also the show's funny character.
  • Kate Eggert (voiced by Tracey Moore) - Kate is Pelswick's younger sister. She is 10 years old and very smart for her age. Kate often tries to get Pelswick to do what she wants, like a business deal. She dreams of owning a big company someday.
  • Bobby Eggert - Bobby is Pelswick and Kate's baby brother. He doesn't talk much and looks up to Pelswick.
  • Quentin Eggert (voiced by Tony Rosato) - Quentin is Pelswick, Kate, and Bobby's dad. He is a college professor who likes to do everything "by the book." He cares a lot about being politically correct.
  • Priscilla "Gram-Gram" Eggert (voiced by Ellen Ray Hennessy) - Gram-Gram is Quentin's mom and Pelswick's grandmother. She often does wild and unexpected things. These actions sometimes get her into trouble with the law!
  • Boyd Scullarzo (voiced by Chuck Campbell) - Boyd is the school bully. He doesn't usually hurt Pelswick physically. Instead, he tries to embarrass Pelswick and other students.
  • Vice Principal Ziegler (voiced by David Huband) - He is the vice principal of Pelswick's school. He acts like the main principal, even though no principal is ever mentioned.
