- Disney Creativity Garden Grant: This grant, supported by Disney and the Association of Science-Technology Centers, helped the MESS Hall visit a local school five times during the school year. They held "Tinker-Explore-Create" workshops for the students.
- GlaxoSmithKline Funding: Another grant from GlaxoSmithKline brought "Science in the Summer" programs to local libraries and community centers. This allowed even more children to enjoy science activities.
