Perry is a small town located in Aiken County, South Carolina, United States. In 2020, about 194 people lived there. Perry is also considered part of the larger Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.
Where is Perry Located?
Perry is found in the eastern part of Aiken County. It is about 3 miles (5 km) east of the town of Wagener. The city of Aiken, which is the county seat, is about 27 miles (43 km) to the east. Another nearby town, Salley, is about 4 miles (6 km) south.
East of Perry, there is a special place called the Indian Head (springs). This spot was important for Native Americans and early settlers. It was located on an old Indian trail. The town of Perry covers an area of about 0.96 square miles (2.48 square kilometers), and all of it is land.
