Perú Cola first came out in Peru in 2002. This was after The Coca-Cola Company took over the Inca Kola brand. Perú Cola drinks come in different sizes. You can find them in glass bottles and plastic (PET) bottles. The sizes include 500 milliliters (ml), 1.5 liters, 2.2 liters, and 3.3 liters.

In May 2018, another company called Ajegroup bought the Grupo Perú Cola. This means Ajegroup now owns the Perú Cola brand.

Perú Cola: Fun Promotions

TV Show Stickers and Labels

In September 2010, Embotelladora Don Jorge S.A.C. launched a cool promotion. They teamed up with a popular TV show from Peru called Al Fondo Hay Sitio. This show was featured on the labels of Perú Cola and Isaac Kola bottles.

The Perú Cola labels had fun drawings of 14 different characters from the TV show. These special labels were on the 500 ml and 1.5 liter plastic bottles. Larger bottles, like the 2.2 liter and 3.3 liter sizes, showed groups of characters on their labels.

Collectable Stickers

But that wasn't all! Inside the peel-off labels, there were prizes. These were 50 different collectable stickers. Each sticker showed one of 16 characters from the show. The 500 ml and 1.5 liter bottles each came with one sticker. The 2.2 liter bottles had two stickers, and the 3.3 liter bottles had three stickers. This promotion officially ended on November 15, 2010. However, you could still find the special labels and stickers in stores for a while after that date.

Second Sticker Promotion

In January 2011, Embotelladora Don Jorge S.A.C. started a second promotion for the same TV show, Al Fondo Hay Sitio. This time, they offered a new set of sticker-tattoos. These were different from the first set of square stickers. They had new drawings of characters from the TV show. These sticker-tattoos were found on 500 ml plastic bottles of Perú Cola and Isaac Kola. This promotion did not have different collectable labels like the first one. The label mentioned that you could order an album for the stickers from a special website.
