Peter Collins: A Career in Sports Broadcasting

From Radio DJ to Sports Star

Before Peter Collins became a full-time sports broadcaster, he worked as a radio DJ on a station called RTÉ 2fm. He also sometimes presented a TV and radio show called The Beatbox. This show was broadcast on both TV and radio at the same time.

Covering Major Sporting Events

Since 1990, Peter Collins has been a key part of RTÉ's coverage of all the biggest sports championships.
