Peter Dietrich had a long and successful career playing for several football clubs in Germany. He was known for his skills in the midfield.
Early Club Days
Dietrich started his football journey with SpVgg Neu-Isenburg from 1963 to 1964. He then moved to ESV Ingolstadt, where he played for two seasons until 1966.
Playing for Top Teams
From 1966 to 1967, Peter Dietrich played for Rot-Weiss Essen. He then joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 1967, one of the biggest clubs in Germany at the time. He stayed there for four years, playing in 103 matches and scoring 14 goals.
After his time at Borussia Mönchengladbach, he moved to Werder Bremen in 1971. He played for Werder Bremen until 1976, appearing in 82 games and scoring 7 goals.
International Experience
