Peter of Luxembourg died on August 31, 1433, when he was about 43 years old. He passed away in a place called Rambures, in France. He was buried in an abbey, which is like a monastery, in Cercamp.
Peter was one of many people who died from a terrible sickness called the Black Death. This sickness caused millions of deaths across Europe, including in Luxembourg, France, England, and Spain, starting in the 1300s. It kept appearing for many years after that. Peter's wife, Margaret, lived much longer than him. She died 36 years later.
