Starting on TV
Peter Magnusson first became famous as the host of the very first season of Idol 2004 in Sweden. He hosted the show alongside David Hellenius. Idol is a popular singing competition where people try to become the next big music star.
Comedy Sketch Shows
Later, Peter joined David Hellenius and Christine Meltzer in a funny sketch-comedy show called Hey Baberiba. This show was on TV4. In Hey Baberiba, the comedians would pretend to be famous Swedish people. They would make fun of them in a lighthearted way, which is called parody.
Peter also hosted his own comedy show called Situation Magnusson. It started on TV4 in 2007. In this show, Peter would travel around Europe. He would dress up in different disguises and act in silly or loud ways. People who didn't know they were being filmed by a hidden camera would react to his funny behavior. One of his most famous characters was Mike Hunt, a reporter from Sky News in London.
Peter was also a regular host on Fredag Hela Veckan. This show was the Swedish version of the famous American comedy show Saturday Night Live. In 2009, Peter showed off his acting skills in the TV4 miniseries "Blomstertid." He played three different main characters in the show!
