Petri Lindroos (born January 10, 1980) is a talented musician from Finland. He is known for playing guitar and singing in a style of music called melodic death metal and folk metal. Currently, he is the main singer and guitarist for the band Ensiferum. He also sings for another band called Warmen. Before this, he helped start and was the lead singer and guitarist for the band Norther.

About Petri Lindroos

Petri Lindroos, often called "Pete," was born in Espoo, Finland. He started playing the guitar when he was 14 years old. In 1996, he formed a melodic death metal band named Norther with his friend Toni Hallio, who played drums.

In 2004, Petri joined Ensiferum, a band that plays folk metal and Viking metal. He continued to play with both Norther and Ensiferum for a few years. On March 3, 2009, it was announced that he left Norther to focus more on his work with Ensiferum.

In 2008, Petri became unwell and could not perform on a tour in Russia. During that tour, Sami Hinkka, the bass player, took over Petri's singing parts. Jukka-Pekka Miettinen, a former bass player, helped out by playing guitar for the shows.
