How Philipp Played Tennis

Philipp Kohlschreiber was an all-court player. This means he was good at playing from all areas of the court. He was especially strong when hitting the ball from the back of the court. He had powerful shots with both his forehand and his backhand. His forehand was his main weapon, and he often hit it in a way that made his opponents move out of position.

His one-handed backhand was considered one of the best on the tour. He could hit it with power, spin, or a soft slice. Philipp often built up points slowly, then suddenly hit a fast shot or a soft drop-shot to surprise his opponents. He was also good at coming to the net to hit volleys. Because he had so many different shots, he was successful on all types of tennis courts. He won titles on hard, clay, and grass courts.

Wins Against Top 10 Players

Philipp Kohlschreiber had a record of 25 wins and 103 losses against players who were ranked in the top 10 at the time of their match.
