Philippine Association for Language Teaching facts for kids
The Philippine Association for Language Teaching is a group that helps teachers who teach English to students in other countries. This is often called "English as a Foreign Language" or EFL. You can call the group PALT for short. PALT's main office is at the College of Education of the University of the Philippines in Quezon City.
PALT's History
PALT began a long time ago, in 1960. Since then, it has been helping English teachers in the Philippines.
What PALT Does: Annual Convention
Every year, PALT holds a big meeting called a convention. Teachers come together to learn new things. They share ideas, listen to expert speakers, and join workshops. These events help teachers become even better at their job. PALT held its first international convention in 2001. This means teachers from other countries also joined in.
PALT's Partners
