Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (in Vietnamese language: Vườn quốc gia Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng) is a special national park located in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam. It's about 40 km north of Đồng Hới city.
This amazing park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This means it's recognized as a very important natural place for the whole world. It protects a huge area of ancient forests, incredible caves, and deep grottos. You can also find many rare animals and hidden underground rivers here.
In 2003, UNESCO officially added Phong Nha-Ke Bang to its list of natural heritage sites. It's a place full of natural wonders waiting to be explored!

How Many Caves Are There?
Scientists have found about 300 caves and grottoes in the park. Their total length is around 70 kilometers (about 43 miles). So far, British and Vietnamese scientists have explored about 20 kilometers (12 miles) of these caves. There's still so much more to discover!
