Pick Your Face was a fun Australian game show made for kids! It was created by Banksia Productions for the Nine Network and ran from 1999 to 2003. The show was hosted by Angus Smallwood and featured contestants solving puzzles about famous faces.

How to Play: Game Rounds

Pick Your Face had several exciting rounds where players tested their knowledge of celebrities. Each round offered a different challenge, keeping the game fresh and fun.

Round 1: Nose Clues

In the first round, contestants had to work together. They pulled items from a giant fake nose. These items were actually clues! Once all the clues were collected, the players had to figure out the name of a celebrity. The audience would often cheer "Go! Go! Go!" to encourage the players.

Round 2: Face Puzzle

One player would come into the studio for this round. They saw four celebrity faces, but their eyes, noses, and mouths were all mixed up! These parts were placed randomly around a board. The player's goal was to put the correct face parts back together in 60 seconds. If they successfully guessed the celebrity, they earned points.

Round 3: Transforming Faces

In this round, each player looked at their own photo on a screen. Slowly, their photo would change, transforming into the face of a celebrity. The faster a player could guess the celebrity's name, the more points they would score. Each player had 30 seconds to solve their puzzle.

Round 4: Guess the Celebrity

All three players joined for this round. They were shown a picture of a celebrity, but with funny, cartoon-like features drawn over their face. Players took turns answering "yes" or "no" questions. Each correct answer would remove some of the silly features. This made it easier to see the real celebrity underneath until someone correctly guessed their name.

Round 5: Eyeball Buzzer Trivia

The final round was a fast-paced trivia challenge. Players had to buzz in to answer questions. The cool part? The buzzer was a giant eyeball that you touched to activate!
