Pine Grove is a small, quiet place in Klamath County, Oregon, United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or town. Instead, it's part of the larger county area. Pine Grove is located south of Oregon Route 140, just east of where it meets Oregon Route 39. It is near a place called Altamont.

Pine Grove's Railway History
Pine Grove used to have a station on the Oregon, California and Eastern Railway. This railway line was completed by 1927. It stretched from Klamath Falls all the way to Bly.
A Stop Along the Line
In 1941, a railway schedule showed Pine Grove as an important stop. It was the third stop east of Klamath Falls. The trains would pass through Hager and then Olene before reaching Pine Grove. This railway helped connect different communities in the area.
From Rails to Trails
After 1990, the railway line that went through Pine Grove changed. It was no longer used for trains. Instead, it became part of a special path called a "rail trail." A rail trail is an old railway line that has been turned into a path for walking, biking, and other outdoor activities.
The OC&E Woods Line State Trail
The rail trail passing through Pine Grove is now called the OC&E Woods Line State Trail. This trail is managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. It's a very long trail, about 100 miles (160 km) in total. One of the starting points, or "trailheads," for this long trail is right in Pine Grove. This means people can begin their adventure on the trail from this community.
