Pinkuylluna (also spelled Pinkulluna) is an amazing ancient site in Peru. It sits high up on a mountain that shares the same name. This special place is found in the Cusco Region, in an area called Urubamba Province, specifically in the Ollantaytambo District.
The name Pinkuylluna comes from the Quechua language. You might also see it spelled Pincuylluna or Pinculluna. This site is located between two rivers, the Patakancha and the Willkanuta. It's just northeast of the town of Ollantaytambo.
