The Pinnacle Hills Promenade is a big outdoor shopping area in Rogers, Arkansas. It's like a mix between a mall and a town square. It opened in 2006.
This shopping spot has many popular stores. Some of the main ones are Bass Pro Shops, Dillard's, J. C. Penney, Target, and Best Buy. You can also find a Malco Theatres movie theater and a Dave & Buster's for games and food. Right next to it, there's another shopping area called Pinnacle Hills Crossing. It has even more large stores.
History of the Promenade
How it Started
Plans for the Pinnacle Hills Promenade were first announced in 2003. A company called General Growth Properties built the shopping center. Construction began in April 2005.
The Promenade officially opened its doors on October 6, 2006. When it first opened, some of the main stores were J. C. Penney, Dillard's, and the Malco Theatres movie theater.
Growing Bigger
The development also included a nearby shopping area. This area is called a "power center." It has many large stores like Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, PetSmart, TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Kirkland's.
One of the first restaurants to open at the Promenade was the first Bonefish Grill in Arkansas. Later, a Target store was added. A bookstore called Borders Books & Music was also an original tenant, but it closed in 2011. In 2012, that building became a grocery store called The Fresh Market.
Also in 2012, a restaurant called Houlihan's opened its first Arkansas spot there. This happened in a space where another restaurant used to be. That same year, Cabela's, a store for outdoor gear, also opened at the Promenade.
