Pinon (which is called Navajo: Beʼekʼid Baa Ahoodzání in the Navajo language) is a special kind of community in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's an area that the government counts for population, but it's not officially a city or town. Pinon is located within the Navajo Nation, a large area of land belonging to the Navajo people. In 2020, about 1,084 people lived in Pinon.
