Piotr Jarosław Świerczewski is a former professional footballer from Poland. He was born on April 8, 1972. Piotr played as a midfielder for many years. His career lasted for about 20 years. He played for several famous clubs. These included Lech Poznań and GKS Katowice in Poland. He also played for French teams like Saint-Étienne and Marseille. He even played in Japan for Gamba Osaka and in England for Birmingham City. Piotr's older brother, Marek, was also a footballer.

Piotr's Football Journey
Piotr Świerczewski started his professional football journey in Poland. He played for GKS Katowice from 1988 to 1993. In 1993, he moved to France. He joined the French club Saint-Étienne. Before that, he had a trial with a German team.
Playing for French Clubs
After playing for Saint-Étienne, Piotr moved to Bastia. He spent many years there, from 1995 to 2001. During this time, he was even loaned to Gamba Osaka in Japan for a short period in 1999. Later, he joined another big French club, Marseille, where he played until 2003.
