Planes is an exciting animated movie from America. It came out in 2013. This film is a spin-off from the popular Cars movies. However, Planes was made by DisneyToon Studios, not Pixar. The story is about a brave crop-duster plane named Dusty Crophopper. He dreams of becoming a famous racer. Dusty gets help from Skipper, who trains him for the big "Wings Around the Globe" race. Dusty faces many challenges, including his rival Ripslinger. The movie was released on August 9, 2013. A sequel called Planes: Fire & Rescue followed in 2014.
