Pleasant Hill is a small village located in Miami County, Ohio, United States. In 2020, about 1,241 people lived there. It is part of the larger Dayton area, which is a big group of cities and towns.

Village History
Pleasant Hill was first planned out in 1843. Back then, it was called Newton. The village got its current name, Pleasant Hill, from a post office that started in 1839. This post office was originally about a mile away from where the village is now. Pleasant Hill officially became a village in 1866.

Education
Students in Pleasant Hill attend schools in the Newton Local School District. The village also has a public library. It is a branch of the Troy-Miami County Public Library, where you can borrow books and learn new things.
