As of the census of 2000, there were 639 people, 244 households, and 183 families residing in the town. The population density was 18.5 people per square mile (7.1/km²). There were 306 housing units at an average density of 8.9 per square mile (3.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.
There were 244 households out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.0% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families. 19.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.62 and the average family size was 3.04.
In the town, the population was spread out with 24.7% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 23.2% from 25 to 44, 30.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.8% who were 65 years of age or older.
