Pnau is an Australian dance music group. The group has two members. They are Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes. Both musicians are from Sydney. Pnau started making music in 1999.
Early Music and Success
Pnau's first album was called Sambanova. It came out in 1999. This album was very popular in Australia. It even won an ARIA Award. This award was for the Best Dance Release.
Their third album was simply titled Pnau. It was released in 2007. This album was also very successful. Many music critics liked it a lot.
Meeting Elton John
The famous musician Elton John heard Pnau's third album. He really enjoyed their music. Because of this, he signed Pnau to his own record label. This was a big and exciting step for the band.
Other Music Projects
One of Pnau's members, Nick Littlemore, also has another music project. It is called Empire of the Sun. This project has also become very popular.
