Pnina Granirer's Early Life

Pnina Granirer's childhood was marked by a very difficult time in history. In 1944, during World War II, she was a child in Romania. She and many other Romanian Jews faced great danger. Their lives were saved when the Red Army pushed back the Nazi German forces.

After the war, Pnina's family moved from Romania to Israel. This was a big change for them. In Israel, Pnina studied art at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. This school helped her develop her skills as an artist. After finishing her studies, she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in 1965.

Her Career as an Artist

Pnina Granirer is well-known for her paintings. Her artwork has been shown and collected in many places. You can find her pieces in galleries and private collections both in Canada and around the world.
