Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World is a 1998 direct-to-video sequel to the 1995 Disney movie Pocahontas. The movie is inspired by true events in the life of Pocahontas. These events take place several years after meeting John Smith and the founders of Jamestown. The first movie was about her romance with John Smith. This movie is about her romance with the Englishman she married in real life, John Rolfe.
All the returning characters from the first movie keep the same voice actors, except for Captain John Smith who is voiced by Donal Gibson.
