Polina Bogusevich (born July 4, 2003), also known as Nanamé, is a talented singer from Russia. She became famous when she won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Polina represented Russia in this big music competition with her song "Wings".

Before winning Junior Eurovision, she also competed in the first season of The Voice Kids Russia. There, she showed off her singing skills and made it to the battle rounds.

Growing Up in Moscow

Polina Sergeyevna Bogusevich was born in Moscow, Russia, on July 4, 2003. Her parents are Yulia and Sergey Bogusevich. Polina has a mixed background, with both Russian and Korean family roots. Her family originally comes from a city called Omsk in Russia.

Polina is a student at the Academy of Popular Music. This is a special school where she learns how to sing and perform.

Starting Her Singing Career

Polina began her professional singing journey in 2012. She was very young when she first took part in an international arts festival. This festival was held in North Macedonia.

After that, Polina appeared on some television shows. These shows helped her gain more experience as a performer. She was on programs like Okno v Parizh and Shkola muzyki.

Polina's Big Competitions

Singing on The Voice Kids

In 2014, Polina was chosen to compete in the first season of Golos deti. This show is the Russian version of The Voice Kids. During her first audition, called a "blind audition," she impressed the judges. She then joined the team of famous singer Dima Bilan.

Polina did well in the competition and moved on to the battle rounds. In these rounds, singers compete against each other. She was eventually eliminated from the show, but her journey didn't stop there.

Competing in New Wave Junior

After Golos deti, Polina took part in another big music competition. This was New Wave Junior 2014. She was one of two singers chosen to represent Russia in this event. Polina performed very well and ended up placing second in the competition. This showed everyone how talented she was.

Winning Junior Eurovision

In April 2017, it was announced that Polina would compete in the Russian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Her song for this competition was called "Krylya." She worked hard and won the national selection. This meant she earned the right to represent Russia at the main Junior Eurovision contest.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was held in Tbilisi, which is the capital city of Georgia. Polina's song "Krylya" was later given an English title for the international competition: "Wings."

The final competition took place on November 26, 2017. Polina's performance was amazing, and she was declared the winner! She became only the second singer from Russia to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The first time Russia won was in 2006 with the Tolmachevy Sisters.

After her big win, Polina moved to Los Angeles, California.
