Polling in Tirol is a small town, also called a municipality, in Austria. It is located in the Innsbruck Land area, which is part of the Tyrol state. Polling is about 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) west of the city of Innsbruck. It is also 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) before the town of Telfs. The name "Pollinga" was first used for this place in the year 763.
