José Fernando Polozzi (born October 1, 1955) is a former Brazilian football (soccer) player. He was known as Polozzi and played as a central defender. After his playing career, he also became a football manager.

Polozzi's Early Football Days
Polozzi was born in Vinhedo, a city in São Paulo State, Brazil. He started his football journey at a club called Associação Atlética Ponte Preta. His first manager there was Mário Juliato.
Polozzi quickly became a key player for Ponte Preta. In 1977, he helped his team play very well in the Campeonato Paulista, which is a big football championship in São Paulo. His strong performance caught the eye of the national team coaches.
Playing for Different Clubs
Polozzi played football professionally from 1972 to 1992. During these years, he played for many different clubs. Some of the well-known teams he played for include Ponte Preta, Palmeiras, and Bangu.
He also played for Operário (MT) and Bandeirante. In 1986, Polozzi and his team won the Mato Grosso do Sul State League title.
Playing for Brazil
Polozzi was chosen to be part of the Brazil national football team squad for the 1978 FIFA World Cup. This is a huge honor for any football player. Even though he was part of the team, he did not get to play in any international matches during the tournament.
Polozzi as a Manager
After he stopped playing, Polozzi started a new career as a football manager. He managed many different clubs over the years. His first managing role was in 1994 with Bandeirante. He continued to manage teams until at least 2013, working with clubs like Jataiense and Francana.
