Pratdip is a small town in Spain. It is located in a region called Catalonia. Specifically, it's part of the Tarragona province, within an area known as Baix Camp.
Most people in Pratdip work in farming. They grow crops in the fields and use the surrounding forests. Two important crops grown here are hazelnuts and almonds.
A Look at Pratdip's History
Pratdip has a long and interesting history. The very first written records that mention Pratdip by name are from the year 1154. These old documents were special letters from a Pope named Pope Anastasius IV.
During the Middle Ages, Pratdip was part of a larger area. This area was known as the Barony of Entença. A "barony" was a type of land ruled by a baron or a noble family.
