The Prime Minister of Jordan is like the main leader of the government in the country of Jordan. Jordan is also known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Prime Minister helps the King run the country.
The King of Jordan chooses the Prime Minister. After being chosen, the Prime Minister picks people to be part of their team, called the Cabinet. This team helps make important decisions.
The Parliament of Jordan then needs to agree with the new government's plans. They do this through a special vote called a vote of confidence. There is no limit to how long a Prime Minister can serve. Some Prime Ministers have even served more than once.
