The prime minister of Jordan is the head of government for the country of Jordan. This means they are in charge of the daily running of the government. Jordan is also known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The King of Jordan chooses the prime minister. After being chosen, the prime minister then picks people to be part of their Cabinet. The Cabinet helps the prime minister run the country. The Parliament of Jordan must then agree to the new government's plans. They do this through a special vote called a vote of confidence. There is no limit to how long a prime minister can serve.
